6827_151133441022_711531022_4017786_5894507_n[1]It is my priveliege to post FRW’s first blog. Wahooo!! Let me just say that FRW was superbly represented at Heather’ Graham’s Writers for New Orleans Workshop.
In almost every photo taken, there is someone from FRW caught in the shot. Yeah!

As always, Heather’s southern hospitality, her creativity, and love of her craft brought so many excellent and talented people to to the French Quarter to share their knowledge and love of the city. F. Paul Wilson, Cathy Maxwell, Leslie Wainger, Helen Rosburg, Adam Wilson, Eric Raab, Kathy Love, Erin McCarthy, all of our fabulous authors from FRW in attendance, this cool young author Krist Rufty and my son, Evan, were just a few of the colorful folks contributing to the workshop.6827_151133481022_711531022_4017790_2123977_n[1]

Needless to say, Helen Rosburg’s Riverboat Cruise and Heather’s Pirate Dinner Theater added flare and fun to the business of writing. Both Helen’s and Heather’s family members insured everyone enjoyed themselves. On Sunday, FRW proudly sponsored the Morning Tea with decadent sweets and yummy canapes. 6827_151133371022_711531022_4017774_3024264_n[1]

Attending any writing event Heather hosts always enhances one’s joy at being an author. She is so generous with her time and talent. She is a rare woman, and FRW is lucky to have her as a founding Momma.

Hope to see you all at Saturday’s meeting with MWA!

Whoa! Have to read blogs more often–thank you so much for your kind words, and of course, thanks to all FRW. We are incredibly lucky to belong to a group that is so wonderfully giving and caring. I can’t think of people I’d rather be with!

One of these days I have to get to New Orleans for this. Sounds like you had a ball. Pictures were great, Kathy.
